Troubleshooting MAC

According to a recent Internet survey, 72.8% of computer-users are using Windows, 21.7 are using Macintosh and the rest are using different Operating System. Most of us are using Windows Operating System since the first time we learned about computers and probably up until now. So if you are going to use a MAC computer, then you would be a totally different computer environment.

On a specific software we support at work (yup! I work in a call center as a technical support specialist), about 90% of us are supporting Windows users and only 10% for MAC users. Had a not-so-good news this week ‘coz this coming month we have a 2 weeks scheduled training for MAC. Oh boy! We’re going to support both Operating Systems. Whew! How would you troubleshoot something you are not familiar with? Well I think it’s a matter of positive attitude, resourcefulness and not to mention luck! Hehehe

I have found some articles in the net and one good website that I can recommend is the Macintosh repair site from Powerbook Medic. Good thing about the site is their FREE repair guides which help you understand basic troubleshooting and forums to provide you more information about Macintosh computer. Powerbook Medic is simply the best place to find replacement parts for your Mac laptop as well as full service repairs.
