what the FOX?

If you were given one chance and one day to be with the girl of your dreams, why? Just kiddin'! Let's get serious. "If you were given one change and one day to be with the girl of your dreams, who would that be?" A question asked by a buddy earlier at work while in the middle of doing nothing. "Megan Fox!", I answered (of course with conviction). Wanna know why? Oh man! Just look at the above picture, who could resist that gorgeous woman! She's alluring, hot and oppsss! Model-turned-actress Megan Fox is one of the hottest star today. No doubt about it! This sexy actress often compared and labeled as the next Angelina Jolie. Wanna know why? Look at the lips man! That's their signature! She has been voted as the "Sexiest Woman in the World" for 2 straight years (2008 and 2009), as polled by FHM and number 2 on Maxim's Hot 100 of 2009.

Fox's started her acting career in 2001 and eventually got her breakthrough role in 2007 blockbuster hit movie "Transformers". She played as Mikaela Banes, the love interest of Sam Witwicky played by Shia LaBeouf. As the decepticons continue their revenge, Fox's continues to heat the scenes with her astounding sex appeal in the sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Can't really wait to see her upcoming horror comedy film, "Jennifer's Body" as it will be shown this last quarter of the year. Fox will play a sexy devilish cheerleader in this movie.

A Salute to the Master Rapper

"Life is too short to waste for worries.
Let's live, laugh, love, forgive, move on and celebrate the beauty of life!"

This is the first thing I have realized after receiving a text from a friend earlier that the Master Rapper, Francis "Kiko" Magalona has passed away at the age of 44 after a long battle with leukemia. The first time I read the text message I wasn’t convinced at all, I am thinking it’s another bogus text message until I checked the web news and sadly confirmed- “Master Rapper Francis Magalona, 44, passed away Friday..”

I am a big fan of Francis M and I feel so bad that we lost a great man with such a great talent. Rapper, songwriter, actor, photographer, director, patriot - that is Kiko. Am sure his music won’t stop here, because his songs will continue to hum in our hearts and his legacy to the music industry will live on forever! A high salute for you Master Rapper! We’ll surely miss The Man from Manila!

Richard Poon, the romantic crooner

I am a music lover but I am not a big fan of very old-school music. But my mom is! Every Sunday at exactly 6:00 in the morning, mom will surely hit the FM radio and listened to her favorite singers of nineteen-forgotten. Mom rules the house so I don't have a choice but to lock myself in my room and play my own music hehehe..

One day while watching MYX music video, I heard a song from Richard Poon, "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko". The song is very relaxing and gave me an idea that this kind of songs will stop mom from listening on her old era music. hehehe.. To cut the story short, i bought the album and BINGO! mom loves it! (and so do I!) ;)

I never thought that someone like Richard Poon can set a new trend for Filipino music by making his own rendition and melody of the old era music and bridging the gaps between ages.

Poon, is a former lead singer of acoustic band U-turn and now made his own turn as a romantic crooner by releasing his own album with 13 tracks entitled "I'll Take Care of You". Here are the cuts on his album (I'll Take Care Of You; Moon River; Way Back Into Love; Somewhere (Over The Rainbow); More; Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko; Goodbye; Let's Call The Whole Thing Off; Fallen; My Kind Of Girl; All Of Me; Naalaala; The Last Time) No stir guys, the album is cool and I highly recommend it! :)

PINOY PRIDE!

The first time i saw Charice Pempengco in a television singing contest's-little big star and belting Whitney Houston's "I have nothing" and "I will always love you" really caught my attention. Such a great talent made me so stunned and dazzled how a little kid can sing a high and incredible notes. I believe that this girl will go far with her singing career but i never thought that she'll reached the kind of success she have right now.

From youtube sensation she is now an upcoming diva sensation to watched out! Some of her guestings abroad that made her more popular and gained standing ovations with her jaw dropping performance are Star King a television show in Korea; The Ellen DeGeneres Show in America; Paul O'Grady Show in London and the ever popular Oprah in The Oprah Winfrey Show.

She even performed with some of the famous international stars like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and her latest duet with the singing diva Celine Dion at the Madison Square Garden, New York. Whoa! such an amazing talent! well am just proud to be a Filipino! :)
