One of the main reason why I've failed to manage my Project 360 the past few months (aside from stress which is already given) is my extra sidelines on photography. "I MISS THIS!" At last, I was able to find time to update my blog. It's been a while, or I say it's been a looong looong while since I've written articles and shared some shots in this page (I'm sure I've missed a lot). I feel so disappointed for not accomplishing my "Project 360" assignment and even performed ineffectively in fulfilling some of my goals due to unavoidable circumstances. Sorry for those who've waited and thanks for keeping my blog in your list.

For the last 3 months, a lot of good things and not so good have happened. The journey of realization comes slowly at times but it is never too late to place things in proper, right? Distress days has come but now, I can say that I am strong enough to stand up and move on. The new me is here, a little better and positive than ever. :-)

The observance of the Lenten Season in the Philippines has retained its solemnity by living with the traditions and beliefs from generation to generation.

During this season, devotees practice religious penance of flagellation which, according to their belief, a way of asking for forgiveness for their sins. Other devotees believe that by doing this act, they can seek for spiritual guidance and favorable divine kindness like healing an ill loved one. Pampanga is a province rich in culture, history and famous for its Cutud Lenten Rites tradition.

Every year on Good Friday, a reenactment of the passion of the Christ is being held in San Pedro Cutud in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Foreign tourists, observers and journalist including photographers from different parts of the globe assembled under the blistering hot sun just to witness this event. I am glad I was able to take some shots after a few kilometers walk and staying a 4 long hours under a scorching sun.

This is the first time I've done a pictorial shoot so at first, I am tossed up and hesitant to post these in my blog. But judging from unexpected overwhelming comments and responses after posting them on Facebook, I've finally got the guts to post and share them with you guys!

I am very much thankful to my gorgeous models, Maudee and Nanie. Every exquisite sway of their chassis gives me a perfect angle. Every pose they project every time the shutter rolls out have resulted to an amazing and ravishing shot!

I'm on a 2 weeks long vacation now and am not really enjoying it because I can't go out for some reason. I just asked for 3 days vacation and what I've got is a 2 long weeks due to viral infection. whew! Sometimes you really need to be careful for what you wish for hehehe.. Who would think that a human mind will work perfectly in an alien body and will blend in a breathtaking computer generated images? Oh well, only Cameron's imaginative and creative mind can create a new world and bring it to life.

The story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic ex-Marine was perfectly tailored in a breathtakingly beautiful alien planet, Pandora and matched with a brilliant animation and live action of The Na'vi. Undoubtedly, this movie deserved a 5 stars rating and will be setting a new box office record because it is now reaching a global gross earnings of $1.68 billion and about to take down the iceberg from Titanic earnings of $1.8 billion.

AVATAR is a movie that will give you more reasons why big screen does matter and why you need to need to see it on IMAX 3D. Enjoy the movie and have fun!

Well that was my old story. I have quitted listing my New Years resolution because obviously, I can't make 'em possible. Hehehe..

Last 2009, I missed a lot of good opportunities to take some shots due to busy schedules. I miss the sound of the shutter, the angle and projections! So I am planning to set a new project (not a resolution-guilty!) for myself this 2010 and will call it "project 365: my daily shots". This year, I'll make sure that I will take at least 1 shot per day to practice and be better with my craft-photography.. Happy New Year guys!

Once in a while I used to visit my Friendster account merely just to check my inbox for messages. Ever since a friend introduced Facebook, I can no longer find time to update my Friendster account. I have two reasons in the list that I consider. First, I can't manage 2 social networking accounts (I doubt!-missy) and second, the site is getting boring and boring (yeah, right!-missy) unlike Facebook which is more interactive and fun.

But today, I was surprised with the new interface of Friendster. A new sign on screen window pops-up the moment the web site loads up (rhyming! twink!). I really got confused and thought I am visiting a different social networking site or might typed the web address incorrectly because of a cranky mood. Check..check and double check.. F-R-I-E-N-D-S-T-E-R(dot)com. Whew! Oh well, I am looking at the right window.

Last week I was at the mall looking for "requested" Birthday present"s" for my little nephew but can't find the design he's requesting. The theme of the party which will be held next weekend would be "CARS" so he kindly request for helmet, biker shoes, race car driver overall specifically with CARS design for his costume. I don’t want to disappoint the kid because he just won first place in their recent quiz bee contest so I really need to find something that he deserves. Whew! It’s really hard to keep promises! :)

Angels and Demons : The Saga Conspiracy Inside the Catholic Church Continues

A good friend lends me the second book of Dan Brown's “Angels and Demons” but can't find time to read it. Instead, I watched the movie and I find it more interesting than the "Da Vinci Code".

The saga conspiracy inside the Catholic Church continues in Ron Howard's new film, Angels and Demons. The movie got a lot of bad reviews from America's movie critics as most of them says that there is a little flatness in the plot, (I would agree with them) but for me it is still a good and entertaining movie to watch. It is far better than its predecessor and it is loaded with a little more intensity and excitement.

Aside from the good performance of Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor, there are some scenes in the movie that will definitely grip your attention. Just to warn you guys, you'll be amazed with beautifully detailed sets and ravishing location in every scene.

I am satisfied with the twist and revealing clues in the film, but I am just wondering how the villain could set up all the crap and what is the main reason behind leaving these clues in scheming their revenge. Oh well, I can’t give you enough details guys, I don't want to be a spoiler so better watch the movie. Enjoy! :)

Troubleshooting MAC

According to a recent Internet survey, 72.8% of computer-users are using Windows, 21.7 are using Macintosh and the rest are using different Operating System. Most of us are using Windows Operating System since the first time we learned about computers and probably up until now. So if you are going to use a MAC computer, then you would be a totally different computer environment.

On a specific software we support at work (yup! I work in a call center as a technical support specialist), about 90% of us are supporting Windows users and only 10% for MAC users. Had a not-so-good news this week ‘coz this coming month we have a 2 weeks scheduled training for MAC. Oh boy! We’re going to support both Operating Systems. Whew! How would you troubleshoot something you are not familiar with? Well I think it’s a matter of positive attitude, resourcefulness and not to mention luck! Hehehe

I have found some articles in the net and one good website that I can recommend is the Macintosh repair site from Powerbook Medic. Good thing about the site is their FREE repair guides which help you understand basic troubleshooting and forums to provide you more information about Macintosh computer. Powerbook Medic is simply the best place to find replacement parts for your Mac laptop as well as full service repairs.

What will you do if the item you purchased is not working the way it should and almost wrecked your home? Common answer of course, you get back to the merchant and ask for a replacement. But how would you feel if you found out that there is no way for you to get back on them? Ahhh! It’s a total devastation.

This is just the same analogy of what happened to my blog. A friend, who is also a blogger, convinced me to purchase my own domain after easily getting her own through GoDaddy. I thought the process would be as easy as purchasing a product in the net, but I was surprise that it almost wrecked my blog completely. I never realized that purchasing a domain through eNom (Google's partner) would be a big headache.

What had happened was, after settling the payment I immediately received an email that my domain will be available within the next 3 days. I got so excited but unanticipated things happened. Guess what?! After 3 days I can’t even access my blog either I go with www.picturesnmore.com or www.picturesnmore.BLOGSPOT.com. I tried contacting Google and I am just being directed to their forums with frustrated members having the same issue. I sent an email query to eNom and received a response but it didn’t fix the issue.

I read a lot of online forums and luckily landed in a computer geek blogsite where I found some helpful information that fixed my domain problem. One issue that I am still trying to fix right now is my Google PageRank. After switching from blogspot to a new domain, my PageRank drastically dropped from PR 3 to ZERO. Sad!

I Want My TV!

Which do you think is more reliable when it comes to connection, is it Cable TV or Direct Satellite TV? For me, I think it's the latter. Because the way our cable provider gives us service is just so frustrating. For almost a week now, we are getting intermittent bad signals and sometimes can't even watch any single television channel. It's like paying a service for something we don't get. :(

I tried calling their technical support (can't even remember how many times) and all representative keeps on is saying one spill "I am sorry for the inconvenience Sir, there's just a system upgrade happening on your area. I am going to file a report on your behalf regarding this...yada yada yada." And of course I can't do anything about it, their system is not as advanced as Direct TV in the US.

I completely understand that they are just doing their job and following what is instructed coz I also work in the same field. So these guys are required to say those spills even if it doesn't help at all. (Now I understand how customers feel, so I'll be good the next time I take calls at work hehehe).

From what is happening right now, it leaves us no choice aside from building a pre historic antenna or wishing that there is a Satellite Directv in our area (cross fingers). Am hoping these guys will fix the problem as soon as possible 'coz I really feel like am a little kid banned watching my favorite cartoon series.

What a Bug Day!

Have you experienced waking up in the middle of the night and freaking out because you feel something is trotting through your bed? Well that was what happened to me last couple of nights because of these aggravating bed bugs. I had an extremely tiring day at work but then I couldn’t imagine that a good night sleep became next to impossible.

I know mom is cleaning my room but can't imagine how these bed bugs get into my bed. Am I in a Bugs Life movie? Wink! The cut the story short, the next day I asked mom to help me clean up my bed and try to spray some Lysol but I am certain that is not enough.

So I searched the web to find some information on how to get rid of bed bugs or how did I get them. Luckily I landed on Bed Bugs Guide site and to my surprise; I found out that if your neighbor has a bed bug infestation, there is a big possibility that you'll get infested as well. Hmmm.. I remember my neighbor whining about bed bugs the other day! So my primary suspect: Neighbor! Hehehe..

But instead of looking for the source, why not look for solutions (trying to be positive). I got allot of helpful information from the site on how to remove infestation. I sealed up all the areas with cracks and holes around the walls, vacuumed every corner of the house and scrubbed the entire surface even undersides and interior of furniture, drawers and cabinets.

Whew! It's actually another tiring day but doing all the Bed Bugs Guide and of course with mom's help, nightmare has gone.

There's Still Tomorrow, Santino. AMEN!

"Santino... Santino..." Am very much sure that everybody knows him coz everybody loves this little charming boy of ABS-CBN's television series, May Bukas Pa (There's Still Tomorrow). Admittedly, I am hooked up with this Marcelino Pan Y Vino inspired series. Probably because it has a promising storyline, good set of actors and of course a little-witty-kiddo-lead character, Santino (played by Zaijan Jaranilla). I always wanted to go home early just to catch this up! No overtime for now! AMEN! :)

Just to give an insight of the series. It is a story of a kindhearted young boy, an orphan named Santino longing for the love of his mother. He was abandoned in a cemetery near the friar's monastery when he was an infant and adopt by the friars in a small town, Bagong Pag-asa. With his simple good ways and of course with the help of his friend "BRO" (Jesus Christ) he can do miracles to change, help and save the lives of the people in his town.

While May Bukas Pa keeps on getting positive reviews, Santino's continuous to capture everyone's heart. And actually this series made its way as the current top-rated primetime show in the Philippines. So to all the Filipino Teleserye fans in the US, don't miss this series guys! You'll definitely enjoy this series like I do!

A Salute to the Master Rapper

This is the first thing I have realized after receiving a text from a friend earlier that the Master Rapper, Francis "Kiko" Magalona has passed away at the age of 44 after a long battle with leukemia. The first time I read the text message I wasn’t convinced at all, I am thinking it’s another bogus text message until I checked the web news and sadly confirmed- “Master Rapper Francis Magalona, 44, passed away Friday..”

I am a big fan of Francis M and I feel so bad that we lost a great man with such a great talent. Rapper, songwriter, actor, photographer, director, patriot - that is Kiko. Am sure his music won’t stop here, because his songs will continue to hum in our hearts and his legacy to the music industry will live on forever! A high salute for you Master Rapper! We’ll surely miss The Man from Manila!

While busy doing my work and rushing my deadlines earlier I accidentally dropped my eyeglasses. It's really a bad day! Half of the earpiece was broke and a little portion of the frame was chipped out. I was too careless with my things huh! I tried fixing it by applying some glue but it just makes me more uncomfortable. Since I can't focus on my job, I decided to visit my optometrist after work and asked him for a frame replacement. I've checked some of the available designs he has but I can't afford the stylish one because it's too expensive and I am on a tight budget right now. (Ouch!)

So the next stop to shop around for best quality and price, our best friend- the Internet. While checking the net, my ever-resourceful brother advised me to check the site of Zenni Optical which was featured in one of the New York Times article because of their stylish and more affordable products for as low as $8.00. W-O-W!

I got curious with the product and after checking the site, YES! I finally got what I want! (picture shown above). I know am too picky when it comes to design and am sure the one that I've ordered is really cool! I always wanted something simple but fashionable and of course less expensive!

Why spend more if we can have less expensive but more stylish eyeglasses, Right? Choosing this product is a very practical decision especially this time of recession. I can say it's a great style at a great price!

Addicted to FACEBOOK?

The battle of social networking site is now heating up! Friendster vs Facebook vs Multiply, so which site do you think the coolest and will fit your personality? I am actually keeping my Friendster account coz alot of my highschool and college friends are using the same social networking community and it is an effective way for us to communicate about the latest happenings.

A friend asked me before to set up a Multiply account. She said good things about the site but I declined due to my busy schedule I know I cannot manage more than 2 accounts. Just recently, I found out that I was awfully wrong coz she introduced Facebook to me and in a span of one day I became addicted and extremely hooked up into it! So now I have Facebook as my primary social networking account and I’ll let my Friendster account rest for a while hehehe.

Facebook actually started as an exclusive social networking for Harvard students before it became as the *number one social networking site in the world *(according to an Internet-tracking firm, Compete.com). The good thing about Facebook aside from being more interactive is the class of members. In terms of age category (don’t ask my age please!), FB users are a lot more mature and already in the professional class unlike in Friendster wherein majority of the members are students or the teeny-boppers class.

I can’t deny that I am already a Facebook addict and one testimonial is, everytime I turn the computer on, the first website that I visit is Facebook! It has been a routine to check my FB account every now and then. YES! multiple times every hour when I am online!

Dad who worked for almost fifteen years abroad and some friends now living and working overseas says "homesickness is the worst feeling when you are away from home". I really don't have an idea how much sadness they feel. Never been into this kind of situation and I can't imagine myself working abroad (for now) because I feel that I am very much attach with what I have here in the Philippines.

Working away from home is not a bad idea, but longing so much for your love ones you left could be a worst experience.

I had a little chitchat earlier with a good friend Josh the reason why I came out with this post (thanks Josh!). He works in the states for more than 4 years now and he knows exactly how it feels working and living abroad. I asked him how he handles homesickness, he simply answered "thanks to social networking like facebook and multiply coz I met new friends here and of course DirectTv for bringing The Filipino Channel (TFC). With their DirecTV specials and DirecTV deal s it always brings me the comforts of home. Watching Filipino movies and shows make me feel that home is just around the corner (smile)."

I admire Josh for being so positive in life. He managed to broaden his horizon in a place that is far away from home. Homesickness is actually a normal thing but not easy to battle with. Imagine yourself left alone from people or places that give you a sense of belonging? Whew! That's not an easy thing. You’ll need a lot of faith to survive! Having to choose, would you rather look young or feel young? Actually it boils down into one. Right? If you look young, you'll feel good. If you look beautiful, you'll definitely feel irresistibly young. It is true that aging is inevitable and we can't resist with this fact. Time will come and your face will be a small canvas for wrinkles and the law of gravity will take over and start drooping and sagging your skin. (oh! scary)

Right?! But now it’s another way around. Even mom’s keep on hanging those Christmas decors to light up our spirits, I still keep on saying "few days from now, it's already Christmas but I still can't feel it.." (*sigh) Is it because of the stress I am getting from work, is it the way that I think or is it because the more you get older the less you feel the light spirit of Christmas. Before the Dream Match of Pacquiao and Dela Hoya, a lot of speculations, rumors and excitements came up from the boxing experts down to the boxing fans and aficionados. Some says Pacquiao will win because of his speed, strong defense and equally powerful fists and other says Dela Hoya has the advantage because of his boxing years experience and because of his physical aspects (the height, the hand reach and not to mention the face value hehehe).

But who can defeat the fighting spirit of Filipino? Even Mexican boxers cannot withstand the fist of Manny Pacquiao as he knocked out Oscar Dela Hoya in their recent fight in MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas Nevada. Pacman won Total Knock Out (TKO) against the Golden Boy in 8th Round and proved himself again as the best pound-for-pound fighter.

TWILIGHT of Bella and Edward

Who says that we should be afraid of vampires? Well, definitely not the beautiful Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) as she fell in love with the mysterious but dazzling vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). Enough with the usual Romeo and Juliet story and let me stop your Cinderella fantasy for a moment because Bella and Edward will surely capture your hearts in Twilight!

It is a story of unorthodox romance of two individuals from two different worlds trying to bridge the differences between humans and vampires. I won’t give you a synopsis of the movie this time coz I want you guys to watch the movie! All I can say is, TWILIGHT IS A REAL-FEEL GOOD MOVIE! I feel like I am in my teens.. hehehe (kilig!) I know alot of bloggers already wrote about this movie but I just can't help myself not to write my own review. :)

Twilight left us hanging for a second sequel, so I will surely bite the “New Moon”.

ümobile to RED Mobile?

While watching the news this morning I saw a commercial about a new prepaid network in the country, RED MOBILE. I got curious because the commercial is so inviting, not only because of the creativity of the advertising company behind the ads but because of the rate of the call per minute- P0.50! Am sure, you've seen the commercial already.

Due to curiosity, I made a little research about it and I have found out that ümobile was sold to SMART Communications Inc. and now renamed as Red Mobile. For those who are not familiar of ümobile (the official website is already closed), it is the first ad-funded mobile service provider in the country that sent out FREE SIM cards for members and allows you to send SMS, call and surf for FREE.

Red Mobile has a very convincing call rates of P0.50 per minute and P0.50 per text but it requires a 3G handset. Will this new prepaid network work for us? Well, let's wait and see how RED MOBILE works for Pinoy kitikitext!

13th month - Last month of the year?

December is fast approaching and a week from now it's already the christmas month. December is one of the most awaited day of Filipinos, not only because its Christmas but of course it's the time to receive our 13th month pay. Yehey!

Am sure, just before we receive our 13th month pay, we have already a long list of things-to-buy for Christmas. And you can't wipe that grin off your face everytime you think about Christmas shopping. ayt? Well, I am jotting down my own list now hehehe (grin!* twink! twink!)

Actually 13th month pay is different from your Christmas bonus. The former is a compensation mandated by law and the latter is only a good gesture of the company to it's employees, it's like a christmas gift/s for the employees. Now, if your company is too good and too generous (bless them!), you're lucky man! 13th month pay + BONUS! whew! equals to a Happy Christmas! :)

I won't give you the formula to compute your 13th month guys, am not good when it comes to numbers just ask your boss about it. hehehe! So start doing your list now, you might get your 13th month pay a week or two from now!

Richard Poon, the romantic crooner

I am a music lover but I am not a big fan of very old-school music. But my mom is! Every Sunday at exactly 6:00 in the morning, mom will surely hit the FM radio and listened to her favorite singers of nineteen-forgotten. Mom rules the house so I don't have a choice but to lock myself in my room and play my own music hehehe..

One day while watching MYX music video, I heard a song from Richard Poon, "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko". The song is very relaxing and gave me an idea that this kind of songs will stop mom from listening on her old era music. hehehe.. To cut the story short, i bought the album and BINGO! mom loves it! (and so do I!) ;)

I never thought that someone like Richard Poon can set a new trend for Filipino music by making his own rendition and melody of the old era music and bridging the gaps between ages.

Poon, is a former lead singer of acoustic band U-turn and now made his own turn as a romantic crooner by releasing his own album with 13 tracks entitled "I'll Take Care of You". Here are the cuts on his album (I'll Take Care Of You; Moon River; Way Back Into Love; Somewhere (Over The Rainbow); More; Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko; Goodbye; Let's Call The Whole Thing Off; Fallen; My Kind Of Girl; All Of Me; Naalaala; The Last Time) No stir guys, the album is cool and I highly recommend it! :)

Tres, Dos, Uno, Vamos! Pinoy Fear Factor

Pinoy Fear Factor is another show acquired from Endemol, the same company that brought the show Deal or No Deal, Pinoy Big Brother and Pinoy Dream Academy. It's the filipino version of the reality daredevil game show Fear Factor which originated from Netherland now with more than 25 versions from different countries around the globe.

Now, Philippines is the latest addition to the list as ABS-CBN adapted the death defying reality show with it's own version, PINOY FEAR FACTOR, Argentina-South America. The challenges were all shots in Buenos Aires, Argentina to show and expose how brave Filipinos are in conquering their greatest fears.

The show will be hosted by Ryan Agoncillo and composed of 12 hot and fearless challengers facing series of stunts and pushing their fears to the limit. Seven men and five women will compete for 2 million pesos, house and lot and the title El Ultimo Participante. Pinoy Fear Factor will premiere on Monday, November 10 only at ABS-CBN.

I'm at the mall yesterday to meet some friends for a little bonding, coffee and of course to relax. While doing a window shopping, inadvertently our feet walked us at SM cinema and for some reason we were intrigue at the poster of this movie, MIRRORS. Actually we don't have plans watching movie, but others insisted. So just to give you an insight about the movie, here's a little review and synopsis.

24 series lead actor Kiefer Sutherland stars in this horrifying movie about discovering the mystery of evil spirits behind the MIRRORS. This movie is actually a remake of South Korean 2003 film GEOUL SOKEURO with a subtitle "INTO THE MIRROR".

Sutherland, plays as Ben Carson, a former NYPD cop whose trying to get over of his fatal past caused by accidentally killing a fellow policeman. in order to support his two young kids (played by EricaGluck and Cameron Boyce) and estranged wife Amy (played by Paula Patton), he accepted a night shift job as a security officer to work at Mayflower, a burned out and closed down shopping mall.

Bringing alone his gun and flashlight, Carson patrols every night inside the dark and scorched shopping mall surrounded by numbers of undamaged huge mirrors. Soon he discovered that there are malevolent spirits behind these mirrors trying to connect to the human world. these evil forces started to communicate with him and started to put his family's life in danger. In exchange to his family's life, these evil forces wanted him to find a person named "Esseker". With his investigation, he found out that Mayflower site was previously a psychiatric hospital where unusual experiments are being practiced to patients using mirrors.. (opppss! i should hold up my horses, i might spoil the whole story)

Actually Sutherland gives justice for his role and he's good as Jack Bauer in his series 24. so a big credit for him. But with Patton, she's not that convincing for the role. The movie will run good without her. with regards to the script, it's not that bad but for me they should come out with a more concrete reason why the spirits behind the mirrors are acting so badly. Not a bad movie to be honest.
So the rate of the movie? i think i can give

Do you love coffee? Well, don't ask me the same question because i am a certified coffee addict! I can take 3-4 cups every working shift. Actually it's normal for people who works at night especially call center agents to love coffee because it's their way of battling stress and sleepiness. Who doesn't love coffee anyway?

There are different blend of coffee you can choose from. There is cappuccino, latte, mocha, espresso which you can avail from your favorite Starbucks, the best-selling instant coffee from your retail store and the ever famous coffee from the coffee dispenser in your work station or pantry. :)

But what if you're thirst to drink coffee and you ordered a cup of it in a cafe' and it was presented to you differently? very much different from the usual, simple and plain coffee presentation. Can you afford to taste it or just stare with it? Well, me, I'll grab my cam and i'll take a picture! hehehe.. Before you decide, you better check this out first.

After messing up my blog template the other night i thought i already fixed the problem after a friend said that it's already working fine on his end. But other bloggers said that they thought my posts are missing until i discover that my post entries are like 6 feet under my template. Do you want to know what i mean?.. Here's the screen shot..

My template is working fine when i access my blog through Firefox and Google chrome, but not with Internet Explorer (sigh). So I decided to edit my blog using IE to figure out what causing the problem. thank goodness! I figured out that some of my widgets are too wide that's why it's still messing up. I feel like a dumb huh! but anyway, the good thing is, everything has been fixed! now (hopefully). Thanks to you all!

I'm just wondering how many hours did he take to finish one painting? Look how clever the artist is. He is just too particular and detailed on each of his works. I think these hand paintings are better than those in a canvass. Agree?! oppsss! I think i shouldn't ask you that because we just had a little discussion earlier with my co-workers if these paintings are good than of a canvass and if these are real hand paintings or another art of photoshop.

The first time i saw Charice Pempengco in a television singing contest's-little big star and belting Whitney Houston's "I have nothing" and "I will always love you" really caught my attention. Such a great talent made me so stunned and dazzled how a little kid can sing a high and incredible notes. I believe that this girl will go far with her singing career but i never thought that she'll reached the kind of success she have right now.

From youtube sensation she is now an upcoming diva sensation to watched out! Some of her guestings abroad that made her more popular and gained standing ovations with her jaw dropping performance are Star King a television show in Korea; The Ellen DeGeneres Show in America; Paul O'Grady Show in London and the ever popular Oprah in The Oprah Winfrey Show.

She even performed with some of the famous international stars like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and her latest duet with the singing diva Celine Dion at the Madison Square Garden, New York. Whoa! such an amazing talent! well am just proud to be a Filipino! :)

Sulu (su-lu) is a Kapampangan term for light/lamp ("ilaw" in tagalog). Aside from nature and youngsters, one of my favorite subject is light. Am not sure if everyone will agree but i consider it as one of the good subject to shoot because it always gives a unique hue and exceptional harmony when you got the right angle. wow! the lights-get-going! :)

A friend is celebrating his birthday today! (pa cheeseburger ka naman! burger! burger!) ehehe.. Actually we celebrated and enjoyed his breakfast treat in one of the good and cozy resto in the city.

I can't comment much about the food, it's sooo delicious, tasty, yummy, scrumptious, luscious, mouth watering, i'm running out of adjective (help!) hehehe! I can't think of any adjective! But the bottom line is, we enjoyed the food because it's a treat! :) feliz cumpleanos!

I've been too busy lately at work (you know tapings, interviews, shooting and all! hehehe.. just kiddin!) and can't find time to update my blog. but now i'm back into the loop again! :) Here are some shots i took at the city park (Bayanihan Park, Angeles City-Philippines) where we usually take a 15 minutes walk after a 10 hours stressful work.

black n' white - it's back to basic

I believe that black and white pictures speaks alot about its hidden meaning. It provides details of the subject that you might somehow overlook in color. The pictures are teeming with emotions and highlights the profound definition of the subject. Black and white allows you to think deeper on what the picture is all about by not merely looking on one spot for you have to consider the hue and contrast of the entire subject.

Do you want to have a high paying job, bonus every sales you do, learn multi-tasking, overdose with coffee, insomnia, hypertension, stress and all those kind of stuffs? Name it, call center have it! :) Salary wise, the compensation is not bad. But do you have an idea how a call center agent manage his regular shift at work? I got this funny video from a friend (with a little exaggeration of course!) that really made me laugh. Hope you'll enjoy watching this one.. :)

Do you love bears? So how many teddy bears you received from your boyfriend so far? me, I don't have a boyfriend of course, but i would like to have a panda! (just kiddin!) I got an email from an anonymous source showing pictures of cute and huggable pandas! Set aside teddy for now, because here comes the panda! :) Look how adorable they are, they look like your living teddy bears. So, be careful boys, don't ask your girlfriend the next time which bear they want to have as their birthday present, they might ask you for this PANDA bear!

But do you know that these darling pandas are survivors of the recent tremor in China? On May 12 of this year, China was hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake and one of the affected area is the Wolong National Nature Reserve - the breeding center of these lovely pandas. Pandas are now highly threatened- I'm sure everyone is thankful because they were saved from the quake! :)

I haven't watched a musical story like this after the 2007 film Enchanted portrayed by Amy Adams as Giselle and Patrick Dempsey as Robert Philip.

This is an adaptation from ABBA-inspired musical in broadway which has the same title. Mamma Mia is a feel good movie to watch not because of the good storyline but also because of the ABBA music that was perfectly tailored throughout the story.

The setting is so romantic because it was shot in Kalokairi, a fascinating island in Greece. It is a story of a single mom Donna (Meryl Streep) and her daughter who is a 20 year old girl named Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) who is wishing for a perfect a wedding- and that is to meet her father. That's why she is very aggressive in looking for her father just before her wedding.

After she found her mom's diary, she was surprised to discover that her mom had had romantic relationships with three men whom she unknowingly got impregnated and now battling with the idea of who fathered her daughter.

Without telling her mom, she decided to mail in three wedding invitation to three possible dad, living from three different cities-Sam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan), Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsgård) and Harry Bright (Colin Firth) just to know her real father.

The movie also stars, Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya. Donna's best friends and former band mates in Donna and the Dynamos who put excellent humor and fun in the movie.

If i am a movie critic, i will rate this movie with 5 stars! so, i will end up here guys, i will not spoil the beans. so if you want to take a break and relax, i really recommend this movie. you better watch it guys!

Sometimes we tend to put humor in everything that we do just to break a moment of stress. This post is not to discriminate women (cause i will not do it in any ways) but to give a little laugh to save our beautiful faces from sagging skin, dropping eyes and annoying wrinkles. I received an email from my aunt and would like to share the little humor about it. This post is for all men and of course for women who have a good sense of humor. :)
