Be Fashionable by Paying Less!

While busy doing my work and rushing my deadlines earlier I accidentally dropped my eyeglasses. It's really a bad day! Half of the earpiece was broke and a little portion of the frame was chipped out. I was too careless with my things huh! I tried fixing it by applying some glue but it just makes me more uncomfortable. Since I can't focus on my job, I decided to visit my optometrist after work and asked him for a frame replacement. I've checked some of the available designs he has but I can't afford the stylish one because it's too expensive and I am on a tight budget right now. (Ouch!)

So the next stop to shop around for best quality and price, our best friend- the Internet. While checking the net, my ever-resourceful brother advised me to check the site of Zenni Optical which was featured in one of the New York Times article because of their stylish and more affordable products for as low as $8.00. W-O-W!

I got curious with the product and after checking the site, YES! I finally got what I want! (picture shown above). I know am too picky when it comes to design and am sure the one that I've ordered is really cool! I always wanted something simple but fashionable and of course less expensive!

Why spend more if we can have less expensive but more stylish eyeglasses, Right? Choosing this product is a very practical decision especially this time of recession. I can say it's a great style at a great price!

Addicted to FACEBOOK?

The battle of social networking site is now heating up! Friendster vs Facebook vs Multiply, so which site do you think the coolest and will fit your personality? I am actually keeping my Friendster account coz alot of my highschool and college friends are using the same social networking community and it is an effective way for us to communicate about the latest happenings.

A friend asked me before to set up a Multiply account. She said good things about the site but I declined due to my busy schedule I know I cannot manage more than 2 accounts. Just recently, I found out that I was awfully wrong coz she introduced Facebook to me and in a span of one day I became addicted and extremely hooked up into it! So now I have Facebook as my primary social networking account and I’ll let my Friendster account rest for a while hehehe.

Facebook actually started as an exclusive social networking for Harvard students before it became as the *number one social networking site in the world *(according to an Internet-tracking firm, Compete.com). The good thing about Facebook aside from being more interactive is the class of members. In terms of age category (don’t ask my age please!), FB users are a lot more mature and already in the professional class unlike in Friendster wherein majority of the members are students or the teeny-boppers class.

I can’t deny that I am already a Facebook addict and one testimonial is, everytime I turn the computer on, the first website that I visit is Facebook! It has been a routine to check my FB account every now and then. YES! multiple times every hour when I am online!
