TWILIGHT of Bella and Edward

Who says that we should be afraid of vampires? Well, definitely not the beautiful Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) as she fell in love with the mysterious but dazzling vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). Enough with the usual Romeo and Juliet story and let me stop your Cinderella fantasy for a moment because Bella and Edward will surely capture your hearts in Twilight!

It is a story of unorthodox romance of two individuals from two different worlds trying to bridge the differences between humans and vampires. I won’t give you a synopsis of the movie this time coz I want you guys to watch the movie! All I can say is, TWILIGHT IS A REAL-FEEL GOOD MOVIE! I feel like I am in my teens.. hehehe (kilig!) I know alot of bloggers already wrote about this movie but I just can't help myself not to write my own review. :)

Twilight left us hanging for a second sequel, so I will surely bite the “New Moon”.

ümobile to RED Mobile?

While watching the news this morning I saw a commercial about a new prepaid network in the country, RED MOBILE. I got curious because the commercial is so inviting, not only because of the creativity of the advertising company behind the ads but because of the rate of the call per minute- P0.50! Am sure, you've seen the commercial already.

Due to curiosity, I made a little research about it and I have found out that ümobile was sold to SMART Communications Inc. and now renamed as Red Mobile. For those who are not familiar of ümobile (the official website is already closed), it is the first ad-funded mobile service provider in the country that sent out FREE SIM cards for members and allows you to send SMS, call and surf for FREE.

Red Mobile has a very convincing call rates of P0.50 per minute and P0.50 per text but it requires a 3G handset. Will this new prepaid network work for us? Well, let's wait and see how RED MOBILE works for Pinoy kitikitext!

13th month - Last month of the year?

December is fast approaching and a week from now it's already the christmas month. December is one of the most awaited day of Filipinos, not only because its Christmas but of course it's the time to receive our 13th month pay. Yehey!

Am sure, just before we receive our 13th month pay, we have already a long list of things-to-buy for Christmas. And you can't wipe that grin off your face everytime you think about Christmas shopping. ayt? Well, I am jotting down my own list now hehehe (grin!* twink! twink!)

Actually 13th month pay is different from your Christmas bonus. The former is a compensation mandated by law and the latter is only a good gesture of the company to it's employees, it's like a christmas gift/s for the employees. Now, if your company is too good and too generous (bless them!), you're lucky man! 13th month pay + BONUS! whew! equals to a Happy Christmas! :)

I won't give you the formula to compute your 13th month guys, am not good when it comes to numbers just ask your boss about it. hehehe! So start doing your list now, you might get your 13th month pay a week or two from now!

Richard Poon, the romantic crooner

I am a music lover but I am not a big fan of very old-school music. But my mom is! Every Sunday at exactly 6:00 in the morning, mom will surely hit the FM radio and listened to her favorite singers of nineteen-forgotten. Mom rules the house so I don't have a choice but to lock myself in my room and play my own music hehehe..

One day while watching MYX music video, I heard a song from Richard Poon, "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko". The song is very relaxing and gave me an idea that this kind of songs will stop mom from listening on her old era music. hehehe.. To cut the story short, i bought the album and BINGO! mom loves it! (and so do I!) ;)

I never thought that someone like Richard Poon can set a new trend for Filipino music by making his own rendition and melody of the old era music and bridging the gaps between ages.

Poon, is a former lead singer of acoustic band U-turn and now made his own turn as a romantic crooner by releasing his own album with 13 tracks entitled "I'll Take Care of You". Here are the cuts on his album (I'll Take Care Of You; Moon River; Way Back Into Love; Somewhere (Over The Rainbow); More; Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko; Goodbye; Let's Call The Whole Thing Off; Fallen; My Kind Of Girl; All Of Me; Naalaala; The Last Time) No stir guys, the album is cool and I highly recommend it! :)

Tres, Dos, Uno, Vamos! Pinoy Fear Factor

Pinoy Fear Factor is another show acquired from Endemol, the same company that brought the show Deal or No Deal, Pinoy Big Brother and Pinoy Dream Academy. It's the filipino version of the reality daredevil game show Fear Factor which originated from Netherland now with more than 25 versions from different countries around the globe.

Now, Philippines is the latest addition to the list as ABS-CBN adapted the death defying reality show with it's own version, PINOY FEAR FACTOR, Argentina-South America. The challenges were all shots in Buenos Aires, Argentina to show and expose how brave Filipinos are in conquering their greatest fears.

The show will be hosted by Ryan Agoncillo and composed of 12 hot and fearless challengers facing series of stunts and pushing their fears to the limit. Seven men and five women will compete for 2 million pesos, house and lot and the title El Ultimo Participante. Pinoy Fear Factor will premiere on Monday, November 10 only at ABS-CBN.
